Our Story
OPES – Officina PalCorp Editorial and Services was born from a passion for writing, communication and storytelling. Our roots go back several decades, to when our founder, at 16, took his first steps in the world of newspapers. For 11 years he worked at a daily paper, learning firsthand how journalism works: how stories are built and how information can change things.
Over time, that experience grew and opened the door to new challenges: an advertising agency, still active today, and independent cultural publications, including a weekly and a monthly newspaper. In every one of these projects, writing, proofreading and content curation have been at the heart of the work, giving us a deep understanding of the publishing market.
Today, under the leadership of our CDE (Chief of Digital Empathy), who has several books published by Sapere Aude Publishers Co., our imprint, and a solid career writing screenplays for film, Officina PalCorp is expanding into new platforms. On the audiovisual side, we have StudioUM, our creative studio, which, like Sapere Aude, is part of the PalCorp group. Our commitment is to help writers, editors and screenwriters turn their ideas into great works, with the experience and vision to bring their stories to life.
